Da die quoten auf fox für tscc derzeit stark in den Keller gehen, die show allerdings international eine sehr grosse, wenn auch stark verstreute fanbasis hat, bitte ich diejenigen von euch die noch eine dritte Staffel sehen wollen sich die show direkt auf fox on demand anzusehen. Das hilft dem rating direkt und es gibt womöglich eine dritte staffel. Natürlich kann man sich nicht ohne weiteres auf FOD die show ansehen. Man benötigt eine US IP dafür. Also sucht man sich entweder einen gescheiten US proxy oder erstellt sich eine VPN Leitung mit US- IP und so gehts:

VPN mit US ip einrichten verbinden und auf der fox on demand seite schauen. Einfach im hintergrund laufen lassen während ihr irgendwas anderes macht! Dauert 5min und es klappt. Allerdings muss man die aktuelle Folge bis zu drei Tagen nach der Erstausstrahlung gesehen habe, sonst zählt es nicht mehr zum rating.

Since they started to air the first season of tscc i have become a fan. Like all US shows, except for House, it is kinda flopping. Atleast it does better than Lost and Smallville. Well, i've downloaded most of the episodes from torrent sites and i started to get more information about the actors and the show. As i saw that the show might get canceled, i was kinda shocked. I did wrote one email to Warner Brothers.

I was trying to find a way to watch fox on demand outside from the US to boost the rating. You will need an US IP for that. I stepped into Hotspot Shield, which maybe works on a 32 bit system (didnt worked for me). If it works for you, nice. Just download it here: hotspotshield.com/ Install it and connect and see if it works with fox on demand. Since i have a 64 bit system it didn't worked, because of driver errors. I also tested it with my notebook and hotspot shield did not work with fox on demand, but it worked fine with hulu and abc. Nice, but useless.

After searching for another solution i have found this:
Guide for VPN with US IP
Basically it creates a VPN connection with an US iphone IP. Takes around 5 minutes to set up and it works just fine. Right now i am watching the current episode. If you want to boost the rating further by watching it again, you have to get another iphone IP and reconnect. I assume fox saves the IP of the viewer and stores them 1:1. For a strange reason i can only watch the show with IE, so if you use firefox and it does not work you might want to try out IE. I've already watched the current episode, just let it stream in the background while you do something else.

If you wish to support the show from outside the US please follow the instructions and watch the show on FOX. I will try and post this on as many fansites i can.

Wenn ihr Probleme mit dem FOD flash player habt, liegt das daran das fox und andere network streaming seiten ihren eigenen flash player haben. Normal sollte dann irgendwann die nachricht kommen das man den flash player hier und da downloaden und installieren kann. Falls die nachricht nicht kommt den player gibst auch hier: Fox movie player

Wenn der IP check allerdings überstanden ist, ist der rest leichtes spiel

Hulu zählt nicht zum nielsen rating und fliesst somit nicht ins tv rating, interessiert fox also kaum. Hulu speichert zwar die anzahl der viewer gibt diese aber nicht an fox weiter. Wenn ihr das rating pushen wollt, müsst ihr euch die show auf fox anschauen, sonst bringt das nichts.
