Jurassic Park 4, Der weiße Hai 5... wir alle haben diese Fortsetzungen für so gut wie tot erklärt. Doch diese Meldung dürfte wirklich Hoffnung auf alles machen. Denn gut 23 Jahre nach dem Originalfilm ist tatsächlich eine Fortsetzung zum 1988er Horror-Spaß Killer Klowns from Outer Space in Arbeit wie Schauspieler Grant Cramer der im ersten Teil die Figur Mike Tobacco spielte nun bestätigte. Er gab an selbst das Drehbuch geschrieben zu haben und das er den Film selbst zusammen mit den Chiodo Brüdern produzieren wolle. Stephen Chiodo soll beim zweiten Film ebenfalls wieder auf dem Regiestuhl platznehmen. Des Weiteren soll sich bei The Return of the Killer Klowns from Outer Space in 3D um ein direktes Sequel zum 1988er Film handeln.
