Oscars 2022 - Nominierungen für die Academy Awards bekannt gegeben

Dieses Jahr werden die Academy Awards, besser bekannt als die Oscars, am 27. März verliehen. Heute wurden die Nominierungen bekannt gegeben und es zeigt sich, dass Streaming in Pandemiezeiten immer mehr an Bedeutung gewinnt. So erhielten unter anderem Don't Look Up sowie The Power of the Dog, die bei 'Netflix' gezeigt wurden, einige Nominierungen. Ebenfalls vertreten ist in einigen Kategorien die Shakespeare-Interpretation The Tragedy of Macbeth, welcher hingegen bei 'Apple TV+' veröffentlicht wurde. Auch Coda vom Apfelstreamingdienst wurde mit drei Nominierungen gewürdigt.

Nichtsdestotrotz sind auch wieder viele Kinofilme mit vertreten, unter anderem Dune, der insgesamt 10 Nominierungen für sich verbuchen konnte. Frontrunner ist dennoch bereits erwähnter The Power of the Dog mit 12 Nominierungen. Steven Spielbergs West Side Story kommt immerhin noch auf stolze 7 Nominierungen.
